Em junho, o Brasil ganhará mais uma plataforma de streaming de peso. A Warner anunciou nesta quinta-feira (11) que a HBO Max será lançada no fim do primeiro semestre em 39 países na América Latina e no Caribe – as primeiras regiões a receber o serviço fora dos Estados Unidos.
O catálogo conta com as principais produções do grupo WarnerMedia, incluindo filmes e séries da HBO, DC e Warner Bros, além de produções originais locais. Entre as obras mais esperadas – e exclusivas da plataforma – estão a versão do diretor Zack Snyder para “Liga da Justiça”, com quatro horas de duração, e as estreias de “Godzilla vs. Kong“, “Space Jam 2” e “Duna“.
De acordo com a empresa, no lançamento, tanto os assinantes diretos da HBO GO como aqueles que pagam o serviço por meio dos parceiros terão acesso à HBO Max – o atual serviço da HBO GO será descontinuado.
HBO Max no Brasil: mais atrações
Valores e opções de assinatura não foram divulgados, mas a Warner afirma que o app da HBO Max poderá ser baixado em diversos dispositivos, como smartphones, tablets e uma ampla variedade de plataformas de entretenimento, como Smart TVs, consoles de videogame e outros. Após a América Latina e Caribe, o streaming será lançado na Europa ainda este ano.
O serviço reúne conteúdo de alguns dos maiores estúdios de Hollywood, como Warner Bros. Turner Broadcasting, HBO, Cinemax e New Line, além do canais The CW e Cartoon Network, e a DC Comics. No catálogo, séries hoje disponíveis no Brasil através da HBO GO, como “Westworld”, “Game of Thrones”, “Big Little Lies”, “Watchman”, “The Sopranos”, “The Wire” e “Chernobyl”.
Um especial de 25 anos da série “Friends” será gravado com exclusividade para o serviço, com elenco completo: Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry e David Schwimmer, além dos criadores da série original, David Crane e Marta Kauffman.
