Amazon anuncia o Luna, seu serviço de jogos pela nuvem

De olho no Google Stadia e no XCloud, Amazon revela seu serviço de jogos pela nuvem e abre inscrição para os interessados em conhecer o Luna

E aconteceu aquilo que muitos já esperavam: depois de Sony, Microsoft e Google se arriscarem pelo mercado de jogos entregues por streaming, a Amazon anunciou a criação do Luna fazendo com que ela se torne mais uma gigante a explorar esse modelo de distribuição tão interessante, mas que ainda não conseguiu cair no gosto de boa parte do público.

Usando a estrutura do Amazon Web Services (AWS), assim como nos concorrentes, a ideia é permitir que as pessoas possam jogar em qualquer lugar, incluindo aí o iPhone ou iPad — vale lembrar que recentemente a Apple vetou o xCloud e o Stadia nos seus aparelhos. Para isso, o recomendado é que o usuário tenha uma conexão de pelo menos 10 Mbps, com 35 Mbps sendo o exigido para obtermos jogos em 4K.

Contudo, é importante salientar que o Luna também será compatível com qualquer controle Bluetooth ou com a dupla teclado e mouse. Já para os interessados no gamepad da Amazon, neste período em que o serviço estiver sendo oferecido como acesso antecipado, o preço cobrado por ele será de US$ 50.

A Amazon ainda anunciou a disponibilização do Luna+, um serviço de assinatura que nos dará acesso a uma biblioteca de jogos mediante o pagamento de uma mensalidade de US$ 6. De acordo com a empresa, alguns títulos poderão ser executados até com uma resolução 4K e com 60 FPS, sendo que até dois aparelhos poderão aproveitar uma mesma conta simultaneamente.

Graças a uma parceria com a editora francesa, títulos como Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6 e Immortals: Fenyx Rising deverão ser disponibilizados nos dias dos seus respectivos lançamentos, mas eles serão vendidos individualmente e nada foi dito sobre o preço que será cobrado para os adquirimos.
