Autonomia da F-150 elétrica pode ser quase o dobro da anunciada oficialmente

Oficialmente, a autonomia da F-150 Lightning é de 370 km a 483 km, de acordo com a capacidade da bateria. Porém, a picape elétrica pode ir ainda mais longe com apenas uma carga, de acordo com testes feitos pelo youtuber Marques Brownlee.

De posse de um modelo emprestado pela Ford, Brownlee observou que a estimativa oficial levava em conta a distância que o veículo poderia percorrer levando 450 kg de carga. Sem nada na caçamba, o youtuber alcançou 590 quilômetros com a bateria em 80%.

Isso significa que a picape elétrica poderia percorrer facilmente mais de 640 quilômetros com a bateria cheia e sem nenhuma carga na parte de trás. A F-150 Lightning conta com balanças na parte traseira para pesar quanto está carregando e ajustar seu consumo de energia de acordo.

O novo modelo da Ford é um sucesso absoluto e fez um verdadeiro reboliço na montadora. Nas primeiras 48 horas da pré-venda, o automóvel registrou quase 45 mil encomendas – uma marca que foi comemorada pelo próprio CEO da Ford, Jim Farley, nas redes sociais.

Veículo mais vendido dos Estados Unidos há 40 anos, a linha F-150 entra numa nova fase através da eletrificação. O veículo, que será produzido na fábrica da empresa em Detroit (EUA), chega equipado com dois motores elétricos (um em cada eixo) e tração nas quatro rodas com quatro modos de condução: normal, sport, off road e Tow/Haul.

Segundo a Ford, a picape elétrica terá até 571 cv de potência e torque máximo de 107 kgfm – o mais alto da história do modelo. Os dados preliminares apontam ainda aceleração de 0 a 100 km/h em apenas cinco segundos, mais rápida que um F-150 à combustão, por exemplo. Na versão mais básica do modelo, as especificações se mantém em suma, porém com 426 cv (o que também chama bastante atenção).

Por meio de um carregador rápido de 150 kW (DC), a carga da bateria é recuperada de 15 a 80% em 41 minutos, ou em oito horas utilizando uma ‘wallbox’ doméstica – inclusa na compra do veículo, vale ressaltar. E fato curioso: as células de bateria foram feitas pela SK Innovation, da Coreia do Sul, por meio de uma parceria exclusiva com a Ford.
