Fotógrafo captura corpos celestes e Via Láctea sobre as Cataratas do Iguaçu

Era para ser somente uma expedição fotográfica do workshop ministrado pelo astrofotógrafo Victor Lima, de 45 anos, mas o ensaio feito no Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, em Foz do Iguaçu (PR), se tornou atração visual. Os cliques realizados por Lima e seus 11 alunos registraram corpos celestes e um rastro da Via Láctea.

O plantão de três noites às margens das Cataratas do Iguaçu não eram claras e luminosas como mostram as imagens. Para que o efeito visual fosse reparado na imagem, o profissional utilizou um recurso especial durante o clique.

“Cada captura individual foi feita com o tempo de exposição variando entre 10 e 30 segundos, a depender das imagens, a abertura utilizada é sempre a mais ampla da lente, as capturas foram feitas em f/2.8, e ISO [a sensibilidade do sensor da câmera à luz] a 6.400 a 10.000, por conta da escuridão do ambiente”, explicou Lima, ao UOL.

Tempo de exposição à luz, abertura da lente e o ISO determinam foco, luminosidade e campo de profundidade da fotografia retratada. Outro fator importante para conseguir registros com longo tempo de exposição é manter a câmera estável em um tripé para evitar qualquer movimento. Dessa forma, a lente captura tudo o que passa em sua frente durante o que para a maioria das pessoas são poucos segundos, mas para a fotografia é quase uma eternidade.

“São capturas feitas em um clique único, um single shot, onde você captura o terreno em um frame único o céu e as estrelas”, disse Lima, que deixa claro que, embora não tenham nenhum tipo de montagem, as imagens passaram por um processo de edição habitual.

De acordo com a astrofísica e pesquisadora do MAST (Museu de Astronomia e Ciências Afins) Patrícia Spinelli em entrevista ao “Fantástico”, da TV Globo, um rastro da Via Láctea e corpos celestes, como nebulosas, Saturno e Júpiter. “As fotografias mostram diferentes objetos porque com o avançar da noite esses objetos vão aparecendo, e esses objetos se movem”, disse Spinelli.
