Os Benefícios de Trabalhar com Deus

Em minha carreira, iniciei muitos negócios sem Deus, e alguns, iniciei com Deus. Ou seja, em alguns casos determinei que tipo de negócio iniciar e deixei todos os detalhes a meu cargo, sem consultar Deus. Em outros, tomei tempo para orar, buscando a sabedoria e direção de Deus, e também Sua orientação para lidar com todos os detalhes que são essenciais para se começar um novo empreendimento e fazer com que ele trilhe o caminho do sucesso.

A diferença, descobri, é como tentar correr com fortes ventos e tempestades no rosto, versus fazer a mesma corrida com o vento às costas. Em outras palavras, você pode tentar o jeito mais difícil ou fazer do jeito (comparativamente) mais fácil. Dar início a um novo empreendimento nunca é simples, mas poder fazer uso da infinita sabedoria de Deus, Sua direção e provisão definitivamente ajuda a vencer os inevitáveis obstáculos. 

Ao considerarmos iniciar um negócio, é crucial nos lembrarmos de um importante princípio: Deus é o dono de tudo. Conforme nos informa I Crônicas 29:11, “Teus, ó Senhor, são a grandeza, o poder, a glória, a majestade e o esplendor, pois tudo o que há nos céus e na terra é Teu. Teu, ó Senhor, é o reino; Tu estás acima de tudo.” 

Medite sobre isso por alguns momentos. Outro verso das Escrituras, Salmos 24:1, declara: “Do Senhor é a terra e tudo o que nela existe, o mundo e os que nele vivem;” Ambas as passagens querem dizer que Deus está no controle. Ele controla todo o universo, tudo que existe, grande ou pequeno, e isso inclui nossos negócios. Tentar construir alguma coisa contra os desejos de Deus ou contrário aos Seus planos é um exercício insensato.

Podemos olhar para vários exemplos de empreendedores e líderes empresariais inovadores que sabiamente escolheram dedicar seus empreendimentos a Deus desde o princípio. Um deles é a cadeia de restaurantes Chick-fil-A, fundada por Truett Cathy, que começou com um único restaurante e viu sua companhia crescer até se tornar uma rede com milhares de unidades espalhadas por todos os Estados Unidos. Ele não apenas dedicou sua empresa ao Senhor, como também tomou a decisão incomum de fechar os restaurantes todos os domingos, sem exceção. 

Antes de sua morte, Cathy disse acerca do seu empreendimento: “Você não precisa ser cristão para trabalhar no Chick-fil-A, mas pedimos que você baseie seu negócio em princípios bíblicos, porque eles funcionam. Eu ficaria ressentido se os acionistas, que não conhecem o negócio, tentassem me dizer o que fazer.” 

Um dia, falando a uma grande multidão, Jesus lhes disse: “Qual de vocês, se quiser construir uma torre, primeiro não se assenta e calcula o preço, para ver se tem dinheiro suficiente para completá-la? Pois, se lançar o alicerce e não for capaz de terminá-la, todos os que a virem rirão dele, dizendo: ‘Este homem começou a construir e não foi capaz de terminar’.” (Lucas 14: 28-30). 

Em última análise, Jesus estava falando acerca do custo de ser Seu seguidor: “…Se alguém quiser acompanhar-Me, negue-se a si mesmo, tome diariamente a sua cruz e siga-Me.” (Lucas 9:23). Contudo, este é um princípio que se aplica a iniciar um negócio – precisamos escolher o alicerce correto sobre o qual edificar. 

Antes de lançar um novo empreendimento, deveríamos separar tempo para orar e buscar a vontade de Deus. Se estivermos operando com Deus e segundo o Seu plano, Ele confirmará nosso trabalho. Se você já tiver iniciado um negócio sem incluir o Senhor na equação, deve reconsiderar, o mais cedo possível.
