Qual é a origem do nome iPhone? Conheça a história

Não há dúvidas de que o iPhone revolucionou o mercado de smartphones desde a sua primeira versão, lançada em 2007. O celular ainda não tinha nenhuma característica de smartphone como conhecemos e, apesar de contar com acesso ao iTunes, era bastante complicado de usar devido ao seu projeto ter se dividido entre a Apple, Motorola e uma operadora americana.

Esse pretexto criou o cenário perfeito para que a Apple tomasse a iniciativa de iniciar seu próprio projeto de smartphone. Com a tecnologia de multitouch para seu futuro tablet já desenvolvida, a ordem de prioridade na empresa foi alterada e a urgência era aproveitar o crescente mercado capilarizado de pessoas que estavam sendo atraídas pelos smartphones.

A Marcworld Expo, antiga conferência anual realizada pela Apple, em 9 de janeiro de 2007 entrou para a história. O Steve Jobs, devidamente, preparou a audiência para o que seria a maior revolução se tratando de produtos da empresa desde o Macintosh e o iPod.
