Para evitar esses inconvenientes, a Nvidia, fabricante de placas gráficas, está desenvolvendo uma tecnologia de cancelamento de ruído que pode eliminar sons incômodos em chamadas de vídeo e transmissões ao vivo. A primeira versão de sua tecnologia utiliza capacidade extra em suas placas gráficas topo de linha.

Chris Fox, da BBC Click, testou o sistema, enquanto ele falava no microfone do notebook, em uma série de ruídos desde uma colher batendo em uma xícara até o som da buzina de um trem, vários deles ao mesmo tempo.
