A fé como fundamento para viver com propósito

Vivemos dias em que a fé precisa ser mais do que uma crença silenciosa; ela precisa ser ativa, consciente e fundamentada. Como pastor da Igreja do Evangelho Quadrangular, vejo diariamente o quanto os princípios da Palavra continuam sendo norteadores para quem deseja viver com propósito no mundo moderno.

O significado do Evangelho Quadrangular

O nome da nossa igreja carrega quatro pilares essenciais: Jesus salva, cura, batiza com o Espírito Santo e voltará. Essa estrutura doutrinária nos remete à simplicidade e à profundidade da fé cristã primitiva, a mesma que devemos preservar em tempos de tanta superficialidade espiritual. A fé, para mim, é prática e conhecimento. Não é sobre assistir cultos, é sobre viver a Palavra, formarmos discípulos, investirmos em líderes e não perdermos de vista o verdadeiro propósito do Evangelho.

Retorno à centralidade das Escrituras

Tenho defendido um retorno à centralidade das Escrituras. Precisamos menos de espetáculos e mais de ensino. Os pequenos grupos nas casas, os estudos bíblicos consistentes e a formação de obreiros conscientes são o caminho para que a igreja continue sendo sal da terra e luz do mundo.

A igreja precisa estar presente nas esferas de decisão, não para impor crenças, mas para influenciar com valores, proteger direitos e servir à sociedade com justiça e compaixão.

Integridade e coerência na vida pública

Ser cristão e estar na política não são caminhos opostos. Pelo contrário, acredito que é urgente termos homens e mulheres de fé atuando com responsabilidade pública. Precisamos de consciência, coerência e coragem.

Uma convocação à luz

Por fim, deixo uma convocação: sejamos como lamparinas no alto. Que brilhemos com nossos princípios, com a verdade da Palavra e com uma fé que transforma. A missão é grande, mas a luz que carregamos é ainda maior.
