Mas o que você provavelmente não sabe é que o Google oferece a possibilidade de excluir as informações armazenadas em um lugar chamado “Minha atividade” ou “My activity“, em inglês.

1. Excluir minha atividade

Cada vez que você faz uma pesquisa no Google, a empresa a salva e a associa à sua conta.

Em todos os casos, aparecerá um aviso do Google sobre os possíveis impactos dessa decisão. Mas, na realidade, excluir o histórico de pesquisa do Google e a trilha de navegação não tem nenhuma consequência em relação à operação da sua conta do Google ou seus aplicativos.

2. Elimine toda a sua atividade no YouTube

O Google também mantém um registro de todas as suas pesquisas no YouTube.

Uma vez dentro, clique em “Gerenciar Configurações de Anúncio“.

Na sequência, opte por “Controlar anúncios com sessão fechada“. Se você clicar nessa opção, você pode escolher se deseja receber anúncios com seus interesses ativados ou desativados (a opção de não receber publicidade não está disponível).

O Google irá avisá-lo de que não se adequará a você porque você vai parar de ver anúncios relacionados aos seus interesses, mas cabe a você escolher.

4. Remover o histórico de localização do Google

Se você usa um dispositivo Android, o Google acompanha os locais que você visitou com seu dispositivo por meio de um recurso chamado Rotas.

Para apagar todas essas informações do Google Maps, você deve acessar essa página.

Na tela inicial, é possível interromper o registro virando para a esquerda a chave do “Histórico de localização”.

Para excluir todo o histórico anterior, clique em “gerenciar histórico de localização” e, depois, no ícone de Configurações.

Para apagar dias específicos, basta selecionar, na mesma página, a data no calendário na área esquerda da tela e clicar no botão da lixeira.
