F1 TV Pro: Fórmula 1 terá corridas transmitidas por streaming no Brasil

A Liberty Media, detentora dos direitos sobre a Fórmula 1, anunciou nesta segunda-feira (8) que lançará uma nova versão de sua plataforma de streaming, o F1 TV Pro, para a temporada de 2021 do mundial. Entre as novidades, está a transmissão das corridas ao vivo para o Brasil a partir da atual temporada.

O lançamento oficial dos novos recursos do serviço por aqui está programado para a próxima terça-feira (9), em conjunto com Eslováquia e República Tcheca. Com isso, o aplicativo sob demanda da Fórmula 1 ficará disponível para 85 países.

O F1 TV Pro já era comercializado no Brasil, entretanto, por conta de questões contratuais com a Globo, antiga detentora dos direitos de transmissão da F1 no Brasil, o serviço não podia transmitir as provas ao vivo e os assinantes podiam apenas rever corridas antigas.

Com a mudança dos direitos de transmissão para o Grupo Bandeirantes, essa cláusula caiu e agora o serviço terá todos os recursos disponíveis em outros países. O valor oficial da mensalidade ainda não foi divulgado, mas deve ser de R$279,90 no plano anual e R$28,90 no plano mensal.

O F1 TV Pro é muito aclamado pelos fãs da modalidade ao redor do mundo por ter uma cobertura completa das provas com comentaristas de dentro do pit lane, em contraponto às transmissões mais generalistas das emissoras de TV.

O serviço disponibiliza os treinos livre de sexta-feira, classificação do sábado, e a prova propriamente dita do domingo. Além disso, o assinante também pode acessar as câmeras onboard, que mostram a visão dos pilotos, de qualquer um dos 20 competidores e aos rádios das equipes.
