China limita jogos online a 3h por semana para menores

Quem tem menos de 18 anos de idade na China só poderá jogar online por uma hora por dia às sextas-feiras, sábados e domingos, além de feriados.

A Administração Nacional de Imprensa e Publicação, que regula o mercado de videogames na China, disse à agência de notícias estatal Xinhua que esse tipo de atividade só será permitido entre 20h e 21h.

Também instruiu que as empresas impeçam que menores de idade joguem fora desse horário. A nova regra vale a partir de 1º de setembro.

As inspeções em empresas de jogos online também vão aumentar, para verificar se os limites de tempo estão sendo cumpridos, disse o órgão regulador.

As regras anteriores restringiam jogos online para menores de idade a 90 minutos diários, em todos os dias da semana. O limite era maior, de três horas, nos feriados.

A mudança reflete uma preocupação de longa data com o impacto do jogo excessivo sobre a saúde dos jovens.
